Laura’s career began when she joined FGP in 2005. She moved to the trading room in 2009 and led the equity trading team from 2011 to 2017. She is now responsible for business development and relationship management with FGP’s sub-advisory client partners.
Laura is a graduate of the University of Toronto (HBA) and is a CFA charterholder.
She has been an active member of Toronto’s investment community, having sat on the boards of the Canadian Security Traders Association (2014 to 2016) and the Institutional Equity Traders Association (2012 to 2014). Laura is now part of a group helping promote workplace diversity in Canada through an initiative known as theBoardlist, a curated talent marketplace that connects highly qualified female candidates with opportunities to serve on the boards of directors of private and public companies.
