Maryam joined FGP in 2023 as Senior Research Analyst and was promoted to Associate Portfolio Manager in 2024. She is a generalist on the global equity team. She is also a member of FGP’s Responsible Investment Committee, contributing to the development of the firm’s ESG incorporation approach.
Maryam’s career began in 2012 as a financial engineer at R2 Financial Technologies. She moved on to work as a long-short equity investment analyst at Kuleana Capital Management in New York before joining the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, where she rose through the ranks to the position of equity portfolio manager.
Maryam is a graduate of the Value Investing Program at Columbia Business School (MBA) and the University of Toronto (Master’s in Mathematical Finance and BASc in Engineering Science). She is also a CFA charterholder.
